The aim of this project was to introduce the role of the forwards in the game of Rugby to an American audience (more specifically, National Football League fans). With a focus on expanding the outreach of NZR+ to international fans.

The Mood



For this project, I was expected to create a tongue and cheek style explainer video to engage with an international audience. With these guides in mind, I went for a light hearted script with mixed media style visuals.

As this project had an emphasis on using live-action footage, I created mixed media stills to give myself practice for the final product. The black and white figures would bring emphasis on the player being talked about in the script.
