This motion piece introduces Discord’s various uses of the VoiceChat feature and demostrates how users can chat, game, watch and be immersed in a different world through discord. Designed to engage, the animation is colourful, fluid and in that classic Discord style to stay true to the brand’s indentity.

Website Gifs


Gifs were also created to feature on discord’s website as another support for this advertisment. Each gif features a short loop of a certain attribute of Discord’s VoiceChat.






Social Media Carosel


This carosel was created to introduce discord’s different features to a new user and how the user can connect deeply with other users.

These characters were created for this animation to engage directly with the users and a driver for the narrative.

Tweening Vectors


With the use of vector illustration and tweening in After Effects, I was able to smoothly animate my characters and show their deep friendship in this motion piece. 

Using vectors helped me adapt into Discord’s style and smoothed out the process.
